O nas

The Innovation Creation Center (legal name: Zachodniopomorskie Centrum Innowacji) is an expert organization supporting the economic development of Szczecin and Western Pomerania. It is run by practitioners who have been building innovation ecosystems in Poland and internationally for many years.

Our team’s expertise lies in connecting business, science, investors (VC/BA), startups/spin-offs, and support institutions. For over 20 years, we have been delivering national and international projects focused on innovation, research infrastructure, technology transfer, and the creation of new products and services for commercial use.

We have helped dozens of startups develop their business models using recognized international methodologies. We have supported them in raising equity financing and organized support programs — including mentoring programs — while also taking an active role as mentors ourselves.

On a daily basis, we work with small, medium, and large enterprises, advising them on securing funding for growth, organizational and business transformation, and supporting the implementation of processes that enhance the absorption of internal and external innovations (also in cooperation with startups).

We are experts for EU and national institutions in the evaluation of research, development, and investment projects. We have secured tens of millions of PLN in grants for companies, institutions, and research units. We also advise polish ministries, including those focused on National Smart Specializations.

We have managed intellectual property portfolios of research institutions and laboratories for commercial purposes. We have carried out dozens of R&D projects and successfully commercialized scientific technologies in both the Polish and international markets.

We have built numerous expert teams to support companies applying for EU funding and managed teams responsible for developing innovation financing ecosystems. Our experts also act as mentors and technology advisors in various EU projects. They are members of advisory boards of scientific foundations as well as supervisory boards of municipal companies.
